Spoken Word: A Celebration of Black History Month!

Last night we were fortunate to have a cafe full of amazing artists, led by the very talented Clarke, who just happens to be the niece of one of our beloved regulars (Kevin).

Gathering to help celebrate Black History Month, they filled The Coffee Gallery with poetry, spoken word, song, dance and music!

The stories told described a wide range of American experiences, as well as powerful personal tales describing the strength of women by poets whose strength inspired all of us.

In addition to the poetry and spoken word, soulful musical performances that celebrated life, women and the African-American experience were delivered by spectacular artists!
